At the suggestion of a number of owners of my instruments I have put together a showcase. These instruments represent just a small selection of the work I undertake. I hope they will be of interest....

All instruments can be customised to suit the individual, for example:-

• Scale length
• Inlays(on Fingerboards and Pegheads)
• Shape of Body
• Shape of Peghead
• Bindings
• Neck Profile
• Width of Fingerboard

Acoustic Guitars can be built to suit the needs of a particular style of playing:-

• Fingerpicking
• Flatpicking
• Vocal Accompaniment

Guitar Necks

Necks are made from either Mahogany, Walnut or Maple. They are a laminated construction incorporating a stainless steel truss rod. Fingerboards are either Ebony or Rosewood, inlaid with Mother of Pearl or Abalone.
Custom designs can be produced.

Machine Heads are to individul choice, typically Schaller or Gotoh. Heads can be custom inlaid with either Pearl or Abalone.

Guitar backs and sides

Backs and sides are made from either Rosewood, Maple, Walnut or Yew.The body style can be customised to suit individual playing styles.All body edges are bound with wood veneers.

Soundboard

Soundboards are made from either spruce or cedar. Soundboard bracing is of the traditional X brace pattern. Soundholes are inlaid with wood veneer (Mother of Pearl or Abalone are an option).

Electric Instruments

Bodies are typically made from mahogany, sycamore, maple or walnut. Exotic face veneers are an option. Pickups and hardware are to customer's choice.

Prices are dependent on the complexity of design and amount of inlay work involved.

Acoustic guitars form the majority of my instruments but I build mandolins, mandolas, bouzoukis, banjos and electric instruments to the same high standards. All instruments are tailor made to suit individual tastes..
