Our Daycentre at Olivemede offers a service to the people in our local community for socialisation, meeting their physical, emotional and psychological needs and to give them an interest outside of their own home. The Daycentre can offer carers ‘time off’ from their caring responsibilities, giving a welcome break and ‘me time’ with the knowledge that their companion is in a safe and enjoyable environment.

We offer a quality service with staff trained to offer social support through care to enhance their quality of life. An entertainment programme is ongoing during the day. Laughter, remembrance and reminiscence are combined within our programme to give an enjoyable day out to all.

The Daycentre is in a village location, with easy access to local shops. The premises are comfortable and welcoming providing both a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere.

The daycentre is open weekdays from 10.00am to 3.30pm (excluding bank holidays). Daycare may be offered at weekends and in the evenings in the residential part of the home by special arrangement.

We gain feedback from our clients to capture new ideas to enhance the quality of service to provide a service to meet all our clients specific needs. This enables them to continue with hobbies they already enjoy whilst giving other clients the opportunity to try something new.

Our residential home, Hill View can also accept placements for Daycare where they socialise with the residents of the home and participate in the daily entertainment provided by the activity coordinator.
